Occupational Therapist - Out Ortho - Upper Extremity

Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin is now hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedic position in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Work schedule includes 36 hours of patient care per week with additional documentation time. Each therapist is required to work until 5:30 at least 2 days per week. Position includes occasional weekend hours for certain cases 2-3 times per year. This full-time position will work directly with 7 Board Certified Orthopedic Hand Surgeons as well as a team of over 20 highly skilled OTs and PTs in a private clinic setting.

You’ll have the opportunity to treat patients one-on-one applying interventions for the hand, wrist, shoulder, and thoracic region as well as fabricate custom orthoses for management of hand, wrist, and elbow conditions. Our ideal candidate has a background in manual therapy with motivation to become a certified hand therapist (CHT) and certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT). Excellent mentorship opportunities are available to further improve skills along with a generous annual continuing education package.


A typical caseload includes: variety of post-operative and conservative hand/shoulder/upper quadrant injuries and diagnoses.

Job Requirements:

· Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
